Nintendo Drops Price For 5 of the Best 3DS Games

Starting on April 22nd, five of the Nintendo 3DS’ most critically-acclaimed games will be reduced to an MSRP of $29.99. The games consist of:

Mario Kart 7
Super Mario 3D Land
New Super Mario Bros. 2
Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Having played each of these, Animal Crossing: New Leaf is my recommendation if you need a game that will last you a while. I’ve managed to clock 45 hours in New Leaf, and you can easily go beyond that if you enjoy collecting items. Meanwhile, Super Mario 3D Land is arguably the most appreciated of the bunch. Or if you need a multiplayer game, Mario Kart 7 is the easy pick.

This price reduction counts for both retail copies and those purchased digitally via the eShop.
