Temples Heading Down Under For Debut Australian Tour

UK psych-rock outfit Temples have announced a debut Australian tour.

The fast rising four-piece began receiving a ton of applause without having released an album or EP, garnering attention courtesy of a few singles released since the band formed in 2012.

But Temples have finally released their debut LP will be heading our way this May to show off their full material live in the form of album Sun Structures.

The band is midst of a very quick rise to prominence. The hype started when Noel Gallagher and the likes of NME and MOJO began pumping up their music and live shows, leading to supporting tour roles for Suede, The Vaccines and Kasabia already in their short history.

Temples will hit the road as part of the NME awards tour in March, playing alongside Interpol, Royal Blood and Circa Waves. The boys will then head Down Under later in the year to play three Australian East Coast shows while also fitting in festival appearances at Coachella, Field Day in London and the Austin Psych Festival.

Sun Structures combines typical elements of British rock with a proud influence of the 60s sounds of The Beatles and The Byrds through a modern filter. Mesmerise (below) is the lead single from Sun Structures.
