It’s widely understood by now that Kanye West is a ridiculous egomaniac with a sense of self-importance that would shame a spoiled-rotten child star. His latest video with soon-to-be wife Kim Kardashian is just another dose of self-delusional nonsense, and frankly our narcissism meter has broken by now. But what James Franco and Seth Rogen have done with the video in their own shot-for-shot recreation is nothing short of genius.
In a video posted to Seth Rogen’s Facebook page Monday morning, Franco and his Pineapple Express/This is The End/Freaks & Geeks cohort Seth Rogen made a jaw-droppingly awesome parody of Kanye West’s recent video for “Bound 2”. A message introducing the video reads: “While on the set of their movie, The Interview, James Franco & Seth Rogen felt inspired to recreate their favorite new video. Shot. For. Shot.” Then we’re witness to the greatest spoof of all time, featuring Franco completely committed as West in full Blue Steel mode and a shirtless, gross Rogen as Kim Kardashian, grinding his hairy erotic ass on a motorcycle. Naturally.
This is the greatest video of all time. Seriously, stop and screenshot any moment in the video. It’s the easiest way to make yourself laugh like a psychotic maniac in the office.
