Hey, remember when Sam Worthington was in Avatar then he was in that other thing then he was supposed to be the next big Hollywood star then….to be honest, I thought he had died. Turns out that is not the case. That’s not the case at all. Huffington Post reports:
Police say actor Sam Worthington has been arrested in New York City for punching a photographer after the man kicked Worthington’s girlfriend in the shin. The 37-year-old “Avatar” actor was arrested on an assault charge following the incident at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday in Greenwich Village. The Australian actor was released on a desk appearance ticket and is due back in court on Feb. 26. Police did not say what caused the scuffle. The photographer, 37-year-old Sheng Li, was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, assault and harassment. He’s being held pending arraignment. It wasn’t immediately clear if both had lawyers.
Um, yeah. Exactly why was he arrested again? And please don’t “assault”. Because, not sure if you knew this, but if you kick a woman, specifically a woman who is standing next to the man she’s dating, there’s gonna be some kind of misunderstanding. And you might get your teeth kicked in. Or you might get curb stomped. Or you might not be able to eat solid food for a while. There’s lots of possibilities here really. Use your imagination, I don’t have time to sit here and explain them all to you I’m not your father. You seriously gonna go with that haircut? You’re such an embarrasement.
