Yesterday, an evil, salacious rumor was being spread that I watch The Bachelor. Completely false and without merit. The other rumor was that the insanley gorgeous Miranda Kerr was fired by Victoria's Secret. I like to think that they read this and changed their minds because this site is read by billions of people, some from other planets than our own (big fans, big fans), but I think they realized that Miranda Kerr should stay in lingerie for all the world to see. Specifically me. So in a statement to Just Jared (via The Superficial) they have decided against it. Good lookin out, bros.
“Miranda Kerr is one of the best models in the history of the business – and easily one of the most popular. She is also a consummate professional. Any rumors to the contrary are simply untrue,” Ed said. “While her international commitments have kept her away from us more than we’d like over the past few years, she will always be an Angel to me. We have no plans to stop working with her. In fact, I’ve already invited her to walk the runway in this year’s fashion show and, happily, she’s agreed.”
So basically, Miranda Kerr wants to do other crap besides pose in lingerie and walk in said lingerie down a runway for the forseeable future. She's has other deals doing other things. And I guess that's cool. But will these things force women into eating disorders trying to force themselves into our society's view of female perfection? I mean, we can only hope. That's all you really can do. Maintaining a positive attitude is really important.
