Rue McClanahan, star of one of the best shows in television history, The Golden Girls, died this morning of a stroke at the age of 76. The Golden Girls is and will always be funny because, not only did it have some of the best writing and the greatest cast your television will ever see, it starred Mrs. Mclanahan as Blance Devereaux. Cougars around the world owe their very existence to Blanche. So long, Rue. You had a run most of us would love to have. R.I.P.
