Rap Gods Eminem, Kendrick Lamar Headlining Firefly Music Festival 2018 Lineup

The 2018 Firefly Music Festival is coming out swinging with some of the biggest musicians in the game.

Billboard announced that rapper Eminem is adding the festival to his already busy schedule, which will take place June 14-17 at the Woodlands in Dover, Delaware. This year will be the seventh annual Firefly Music Festival event, which is the “biggest music and camping festival on the east coast” set in a wooded landscape.

The rap genius will be headlining the event along with Kendrick Lamar, Arctic Monkeys, and The Killers. So far, this is the fifth festival Eminem will be headlining this year after releasing his new album, Revival, on December 15, 2017.

Unsurprisingly, the album — the first to be released by Eminem since The Marshall Mathers LP 2 in 2013 — became the rapper’s “eighth straight No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart,” allowing him to become the first entertainer to achieve this status.

Before joining Eminem at the Firefly Festival, Kendrick Lamar will be making his appearance at the 60th Grammy Awards, hosted by James Corden, where the rapper has been nominated in seven categories this year, including “Album of the Year” and “Record of the Year.”

Lamar will be taking the stage at the Grammys on Sunday, January 28th on CBS. Make sure you don’t arrive fashionably late as the rapper will be opening the show along with U2 and Dave Chappelle.

The Firefly Music Festival’s official Instagram announced the full lineup of musicians expected to perform at the event, which includes Lil Wayne, Cold War Kids, SZA, Jimmy Eat World, Odesza, Foster the People, DJ Mike D, and much, much more.

The festival also comes complete with an on-site craft beer bar; a coffee house (with live entertainment); a market where attendees can take a break or shop for mementos; The Thicket, where fans throw on a set of headphones and share in a unique dance party experience; an area to kick it on a hammock when you need a breather; gourmet food; acoustic jams at the Treehouse Sessions; and a chance to experience The Pathway, the festival’s forest clearing setup with a lighting display to carry on the party into the night.

Passes for the festival are on sale now and can be purchased on the organization’s website.
