Fuck the Great Pyramid of Giza. If this is the way they’re treating human beings in Egypt, I can just live with the PBS special instead of seeing it in person.

According to BBC News, 25-year-old Shaimaa Ahmed, who is better known as Shyma to her Egyptian fans, was sentenced to two years in jail on Tuesday after she was found guilty of “inciting debauchery and publishing an indecent film.”

That indecent film? You guessed it – a music video for her song “I Have Issues” in which she dresses as a teacher with sweet cleavage and seductively eats peanut butter off a brownie, licks an apple being held up on her pencil, eats a banana, pours milk over more bananas and then flirts with her students, who for some reason seem to be adult construction workers and one poor bastard who must have been hurt on the job because he has crutches and a neck brace.

I’ll be honest, that video makes me want to sign back up for school, which apparently in Egypt is what is known as “debauchery.” But hey, at least now we know why pop singers and their music video directors are being sent to prison instead of on world tours.
