I don’t know about you all, but I love conspiracy theories — I just love thinking “what if?” It just makes things a hell of a lot more interesting. And what’s the latest conspiracy theory that has people buzzing? Well it has to do with the moon landing, and how it may have been all staged.

A YouTuber user known as Streetcap1 shared a video talking about an official NASA photo from Apollo 17’s lunar mission in 1972.

According to the video below, there seems to be a reflection of a stagehand in one of the astronaut’s helmets. And that means that the landing was all a big hoax — a big movie production. Check out the video and see for yourself.

The YouTuber user states: “What we appear to have here is a figure of a human, not wearing a space suit, circa early ’70s. An Apollo 17 photograph. It looks like a man. Back in the early ’70s. Long hair. Wearing some sort of waistcoat type thing.”

Here’s a closer look at the figure in question:

Looking at the fact that this is an official NASA photo, it’s tough to believe that these smart men and women would miss this. Then again, can we really trust anything the government says? As far as I know there are all aliens with human skin on.

So what do you think? Do you buy into this conspiracy theory?
