The only thing that can stop such powerhouse performers as Muse and Lorde is mother nature herself. Both Lollapalooza Day 1 headliners’ sets were shut down by festival organizers after warnings from the National Weather Service about a dangerous storm approaching.
Lorde and Muse were both “gutted” by the unfortunate series of events, but promised Chicago fans some sort of reprieve with Lorde even Tweeting that she was “looking into the possibilities of a club show but i want you guys to see full tank show. will keep you posted”.

There was of course the usual drama surrounding ex-Oasis singer Liam Gallagher who walked off the stage after three songs — he later Tweeted an explanation that his voice was “fucked” after playing a gig the previous night.
