Comic-Con 2017 | ‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Gets a New Trailer

Comic-Con, it’s time to turn your world upside down! The kids of Stranger Things were given a San Diego welcome, and they returned the favor with the first full trailer for the upcoming second season.

Will Byers is alive, but not quite himself since returning from the alternate world. Even a quick trip to the arcade leads to an unsettling vision for Will. Something is coming from the other side, and it’s much, much bigger than the Demogorgon. Now, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, and Will have to discover a way to stop the new monster before it is too late to save their town.

Many familiar faces also show up in the trailer, but the most important one is Eleven, who is seen here for the first time since she disappeared into the Upside Down. Perhaps now she’s found a way to return to Earth, but the real question is what followed her home? Even Eleven has limits to her power, and plenty of enemies waiting for her in our world.

Here’s Netflix’s official description of the trailer.

“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

Stranger Things season 2 will premiere on Netflix on October 27.
