Liam Gallagher Has Slammed Damon Albarn and Gorillaz Again

Liam Gallagher has been making a concerted effort to rekindle the Oasis / Blur feud of the ’90s in the run-up to the release of his debut solo album, mocking his brother Noel for appearing alongside Damon Albarn in a Gorillaz performance on The Graham Norton Show.

Following the performance on the talk show, which saw Noel Gallagher and former rival Damon Albarn performing the Humanz track ‘We Got The Power’, Liam took to Twitter to offer his thoughts, writing: “Just saw the GN show fucking hell bruv you have seriously lost the plot man im worried dermot looks worried for you also we got the power LG”.

A fan asked the former Oasis frontman when his solo LP would be released, to which he replied: It’s coming me lion patience no rush it’s not like there’s much competition out there you just relax brother.” When another fan added that “there’s not much competition from the Gorillaz” as the band are “absolute shite”, Liam replied: “Not from anybody as far as I can tell young man it’s gonna be a walk in the park mate as you were LG”.

Noel Gallagher collaborated with former Britpop rival Albarn on the latest Gorillaz album, playing guitar and providing back-up vocals on its closer ‘We Got The Power’. Following their performance on The Graham Norton Show, the host asked the pair when they had “made up”, to which Noel replied: “Just now”.
