As if Star Wars wasn’t awesome enough, someone made it that much better.

Combining two major forces in the world of pop culture, Star Wars and Seinfeld came together in a video recently posted by YouTuber Henry Harris. Titled “Episode 1: The Phantom Nothing,” the epic lightsaber battle between Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul got the Seinfeld treatment with elements of the theme song in place of lightsaber sounds as they strike each other.

Star Wars Lightsaber Battle Overdubbed With Seinfeld Sound Effects Is Everything

As someone who has watched every single Seinfeld episode and also a giant Star Wars nerd who brainwashed his kids into loving the saga, I can wholeheartedly appreciate this. Also, the Star Wars prequels were largely abysmal in comparison to the original trilogy, so any addition to Episodes I through III is not only welcome, but heavily sought after by someone in my position. Dealing with the likes of Jar Jar Binks will drive you to such a state of consciousness. Stupid Jar Jar.

Now if we can only get Seinfeld back on the air, if only for a reunion show or something, then we in the niche Star Wars / Seinfeld genre of fans can rest easy. Here’s hoping.
