For over 30 years, theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking has been using the same robotic voice that came with his “Equalizer” computer program, so of course it was time for a little update, and perhaps a fresh new voice. And that’s exactly what Hawking aimed to do.

Thanks to British charity Comic Relief, who produced this spoof video for Red Nose Day, we get to see various celebrities audition to be the new voice for Hawking. Celebrities from Anna Kendrick, Liam Neeson, Felicity Jones, Chef Gordon Ramsay, Rebel Wilson, Miss Piggy, and even Eddie Redmayne, who portrayed Hawking in the 2014 film The Theory of Everything audition to be his new voice.

So check out the awesome video below to see all these auditions in action.

Well if it was up to me I would choose Gilbert Gottfried — I mean, that is one soothing voice, don’t you think? Just take a look at this classic video to know what I mean.

How can anyone hate that voice, am I right or am I right, folks? That should have been Stephen Hawking’s choice.
