Rooftops, porches, and even fire escapes will soon be calling your name. As the weather changes, so too should your cocktails. These eight adult beverages celebrate the light, invigorating, sweet characteristics of springtime.

The Fresh Perspective

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Hendrick’s Gin
  • 1 1/2 parts cucumber, kale, mint, and apple Juice
  • 3/4 parts lemon juice
  • 1 part aloe juice
  • Rinse of malic acid

Preparation:

Shake and double strain. Serve in a hurricane glass. Garnish with fresh mini veggies and bay leaf hydrosol.

Ingredients:

Preparation:

Shake and fine strain. Garnish with a thin, rolled-up cucumber slice and a lemon twist.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 parts Milagro Silver
  • 3 parts guava nectar (pink)
  • 1/2 part ginger simple syrup
  • 3/4 part lime juice

Preparation:

Mix ingredients. Top with club soda, Topo Chico, or Prosecco. Garnish with lime wheels or white edible flowers to resemble guava flowers.

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Glenfiddich Bourbon Barrel Reserve 14 Year Old
  • 1 part fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 part honey syrup
  • Grapefruit twist (for garnish)

Preparation:

Shake Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve, grapefruit juice, and honey syrup over ice. Strain into a coupe. Express a grapefruit twist over the cocktail and drop in.

Ingredients:

  • 1 part Glenfiddich 14 Year Old
  • 3/4 part lemon juice
  • 3/4 part simple syrup
  • 1/2 part peach brandy
  • 1/4 part Flor de Caña 7 year
  • Lemon wheel (for garnish)

Preparation:

Shake all ingredients except the lemon wheel over ice. Strain into a double rocks glass. Fill with crushed ice. Garnish by placing the lemon wheel between the edge of the glass and the ice.

Ingredients:

  • 2 parts Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
  • 4 parts sparkling water or club soda
  • Pear slices (for garnish)

Preparation:

Pour Glenfiddich 12 Year over ice, then add the sparkling water or club soda.  Garnish with a fan of pear slice.

  • 1 1/2 parts Flor de Caña 7
  • 3/4 part fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 part honey syrup (1 1/2 parts sugar to 1 part water)
  • 1/4 part Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur

Preparation:

Shake vigorously and strain into coupe glass. Garnish with range peel

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 inch slices cucumber
  • 2 parts Tullamore DEW Irish whiskey
  • 1/2 part St. Germain
  • 3/4 part fresh lemon juice
  • 3/4 part simple syrup (1 part sugar to 1 part water)

Preparation:

In a shaker, muddle the cucumber slices. Add remaining ingredients and fill shaker with ice. Shake vigorously, and fine-strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
