Adele Screws Up George Michael Tribute, Cusses And Then Totally Nails Her Redo

After watching what happened at the 2017 Grammy Awards Sunday night, I have no problem saying that Adele has bigger balls than I do.

The uber-talented singer took home five Grammys and became just the second woman in the history of the awards show to take home “Album of the Year” honors twice, but it was her tribute to George Michael that may have ultimately launched her into legend territory.

It was a surprise second performance from Adele, who was tasked with singing “Fastlove” while accompanied by an orchestra as a slideshow of the late pop star’s photos through the years played in the background. But for whatever reason, the tribute got off to a rough start and seemed to be off for about the first minute.

That didn’t sit well with Adele, who did the unthinkable and…wait for it…stopped the song, dropped a naughty word on live television and asked everybody to start over. No, seriously. The same woman who won five Grammys in one night stopped a performance on live TV and told everybody to take it from the top.

Of course when you’re Adele, you can get away with that shit and then, once again because you’re Adele, you come back with the thunder and absolutely nail the tribute the second time around.

Here’s the entire video that will hopefully stay up long enough for you to see exactly how one of the most amazing moments in Grammys history played out. Well done, Adele.
