Listen, regardless of how you feel about Madonna as a person, there’s no question that she’s had quite the impact on music, and plenty of musicians wouldn’t be doing what they are doing today if it wasn’t for her. But over the last couple of years the Queen of Pop has seemed to have lost it a tad upstairs. Just a couple of months ago Madonna was promising to give dudes oral sex if they gave Hillary Clinton their vote. No word yet if she followed through.

This time around, while on the cover for Harper’s Bazaar, Madonna opened up…quite a bit about her sex life, and how she’s feeling oppressed.

I’ve always felt oppressed. I know a lot of people would go, ‘Oh, that’s ridiculous for you to say that. You’re a successful white, wealthy pop star,’ but I’ve had the shit kicked out of me for my entire career, and a large part of that is because I’m female and also because I refuse to live a conventional life. I’ve created a very unconventional family. I have lovers who are three decades younger than me. This makes people very uncomfortable. I feel like everything I do makes people feel really uncomfortable.”

You know she was super proud of dropping in that fact that she has lovers 30 years younger than her. I can just see her smirking while reading that line.

I don’t know why Madonna should feel oppressed when, as she states, she’s a super rich “white…pop star.” But hey, the point of that snippet was to let everyone know she’s still hooking up with young dudes. So, congrats?

Now check out some shots of her from the Harper Bazaar’s shoot if you’re into her.
