ORIGINAL STORY: Eric Andre may still be in the middle of his debut Australian comedy tour, but the unpredictable comic has already locked in a string of return dates in 2017.
Tonight marks his final Sydney Comedy Store show of his current sold out tour which saw Andre put on four shows across Sydney and Melbourne only, and based on the success of these shows his 2017 tour will expand to Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and New Zealand.
Since 2012 Eric Andre has hosted The Eric Andre Show on Adultswim, and the top-rating show is now in its fourth season, bringing absurd celebrity after absurd celebrity interview to our screens.
His Melbourne shows this week saw Andre break Jim Jefferies’ record for the biggest crowds the Comic Lounge had ever seen, surely due in no small part to the surprise appearance of his Eric Andre Show co-host Hannibal Buress who recently wrapped up his own headline stand-up tour.
So predictably on his return he’ll take to a series of much larger theatres, including a massive upgrade from Sydney’s Comedy Store to the Enmore Theatre.
