Kate Upton Has Twitter Rampage After Justin Verlander Loses Cy Young

Justin Verlander had one hell of a bounce back campaign in 2016, leading much of the American League in key pitching categories. However, when the AL Cy Young was announced Wednesday, the award for the best pitcher went to Boston’s Rick Porcello.

We can only imagine how disappointed Verlander was with the announcement. His fiancee, Kate Upton, was furious, and she wasn’t afraid to tell the world all about it.

Just look at the epicness of the last tweet in particular.

And she has a terrific point. Just look at how the ballots shook out.

Verlander had more first place votes, yet was outscored 2-18 on second place votes. Allegedly, there were some writers that didn’t even have Verlander in their top 5. It’s a shame, considering he led AL pitchers in most of the key categories, as his brother Ben pointed out.

Upton then continued to go after those on Twitter who defended the vote.

I really can’t wait to see her reaction once Verlander actually wins something. They weren’t yet together the last time the hurler won the Cy Young in 2011.
