Jarryd Hayne Involved In Awkward Porn Gaffe During School Cyber Safety Talk

Jarryd Hayne has been caught in an awkward incident at a Gold Coast high school where a cyber security expert was showing the athlete’s browser history to a room of students, before a pornographic website popped up on screen for all to see.

Since returning to Australia to restart his NRL career mid-season with the Gold Coast Titans, Hayne has caught the attention of the media for a variety of reasons, but today his worst nightmares were realised.

Norton’s cyber expert Nick Savvides was explaining how cyber criminals can try to target your internet history, and proceeded to show the kids what Hayne had been browsing, starting off with a few sports pics, before things suddenly got more than a little racy.

Hayne cracked a cheeky smile before promptly turning everything off, but the damage had undeniably been done.

Seven News has since reported that a spokesperson for Hayne has claimed the pictures were not from Hayne’s phone, but from a student’s phone using the same WiFi connection. Norton’s Nick Savvides agreed, saying, “It’s unfortunate and all I can say (is) it definitely was not Jarryd’s device.

“Connecting to open networks, people can see what you’re doing and in this case, inject unwanted materials,” he said.
