Fans will have to wait until next year to see Jessica Henwick bring Colleen Wing to life in Netflix’s TV adaptation of Iron Fist, but it looks like Henwick is doing double duty on The Defenders alongside her Iron Fist co-star, Finn Jones.
Marvel has offiically announced that Henwick is one of several supporting players from each of the first four Marvel TV series on Netflix who will reprise her role on The Defenders. And to give fans a taste of what to expect, Marvel also dropped a new clip from Iron Fist that features Henwick in action as Wing.

In the Marvel Universe, Wing was one of Iron Fist’s earliest allies and an accomplished martial artist who went on to form her own detective agency, Daughters of the Dragon, with her close friend, Misty Knight. Given that both Henwick and Simone Missick are appearing in The Defenders, the chances are pretty good that Wing and Knight will meet for the first time on this series. The season finale of Luke Cage also hinted that Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple may be taking Wing’s martial arts classes in Iron Fist; which may also carry over to The Defenders.
Story details for The Defenders have yet to be announced, but it is known that Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Jones) will unite against a common enemy, as played by Sigourney Weaver. The eight episode miniseries will premiere on Netflix in 2017.
