Comic-Con 2016 Video | Jay Firestone on ‘Dark Matter’ Season 2

Jay Firestone may not have created Dark Matter, but he has proven to be one of the major forces behind the series. The show is currently in its second season on Syfy, while dealing with a significantly changed status quo.

During Comic-Con International, Firestone and the cast of Dark Matter hit San Diego for their second appearance at the event. CraveOnline caught up with Firestone at the Marriott Marquis and he didn’t hold back about the fate of One, the journey of Four, the reintroduction of Six, the rise of Two and Five, and how Nyx will fit in with the crew of the Raza.

For those of you not familiar with Dark Matter, it’s based on a comic book series by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie. The show revolves around the crew of the Raza, a feared team of mercenaries whose memories had been wiped by one of their own. Without the knowledge of even their own names, the crew took on the numbers of the order in which they were awakened. Until recently, Marc Bendavid played One, with Melissa O’Neil as Two, Anthony Lemke as Three. Alex Mallari Jr. as Four, Jodelle Ferland as Five, Roger Cross as Six, and Zoie Palmer as the Android.

Dark Matter airs Friday nights on Syfy. And we’ll be posting our Comic-Con interview with Lemke and Mallari in the near future!

What did you think about this interview? And do you want to see the crew of the Raza reclaim their former identities? Let us know in the comment section below!
