If the Jaws movies weren't enough to scare you out of the water, this video might do the trick. Watch from a boat's-eye view as this diver sits trapped in his shark tank as a Great White charges right at the cage's opening. Luckily, the diver noticed the oncoming predator just in time to duck under his mouth and hide behind protection from the cage's bars. The shark swims off without attacking again and the diver escaped the attack unscathed.

Does anyone else find the loud, thumping noise pollution as annoying as I do?

That dude was so lucky to duck when Mr. White decided dessert was in order. Maybe someone from the shark cage manufacturer will decide to triple the thickness of the bars and make it a little wider so if one gets in the diver can just back up.

March 23 2013 at 8:02 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThat would give me a heart attack. I don't swim in the ocean anymore, after there was an 8 ft lemon shark that was caught not far from where I was swimming as a kid in VA. I was on vacation with my family, & we saw a jeep on the side of the road with the shark draped over the back. We pulled over & talked to the guy. After what he told us, I swore off swimming in the ocean. My mom tried to allay my fears, by buying me a book on shark attacks. Big mistake. That just scared me out even more. I say if I can't see what's coming toward me, I'm not going in. Plain & simple. I don't want to be some sea creature's meal. I know the odds of being attacked are in my favor of not happening, but I don't dare tempt fate. The one time I risk it, I know I'm done for. No thank you.
