V3 Cannon
Another German long-distance death device, if the V3 cannons had been able to deliver their deadly payloads the war might have turned out very differently. These incredible artillery weapons were constructed in northern France and intended to be able to shell London from a long distance.
The barrels of the guns were constructed in 430-foot long tunnels in the ground, and shells were accelerated through the tubes by multiple propellant detonations. The batteries were bombed by the Royal Air Force before they could open fire on England, but the Nazis did later use a similar gun against fortifications in Luxembourg.

While Hitler was arguably one of the greatest politicians of modern times, he only rose to the rank of corporal while fighting in WW 1. Thankfully for the world Hitler had enough power to over rule his admirals and generals, Nazi Germany had the power and technology to win the war but Hitler made a couple of key blunders which is why his generals tried to have him killed. It all worked out for the best, the world and

Braun eventually became head of NASA, not bad for a young German boy with a dream, he helped two countries become world super powers, actually three because many of his proteges went to Russia and helped them.
The scariest weapons were not the ones thought of. They were the ones built. Like the V-1 and the V-2. Could have been an entirely different war if they\'d been around in \'41.
