actually even the guy with the 'bee suit' doesn't need to be wearing protective gear. In most cases where bees have 'swarmed' and gathered around the queen, they are waiting for bees that are 'scouts' that are looking for a new place to make their hive. When a beekeeper captures this mass of bees to relocate them to a 'hive box' the bees are generally not aggressive. Honeybees (not the dangerous 'killer bee' strain) are only aggressive when they feel they are being attacked or their hive is being attacked. SAVE the BEES....your food sources depend on them!
