The man you see here reading a book while standing on his head is Caulton Morris and he is a very creative photographer. Morris has been snapping these incredibly inventive shots on and off for the last four years. He likes to be very clear on the subject matter: these are not photoshopped. All of the pics you see in this gallery are 100 percent real.
Morris didn't totally reveal his methods, but he did explain what has gone into the series. "I literally just take the shots on the spur of the moment with very little, if any, preparation," Morris says. "It’s all about play. I go out with my camera not knowing what will happen. I play around and usually end up with a unexpected result. My thinking is that if I have fun taking the shot then people might have fun looking at it!"

"I grew up in a time when everyone believed the saying, 'The camera never lies,'" says Morris. "Nobody believes that anymore. In fact we believe the complete opposite...'The camera ALWAYS lies!' That's pretty interesting to me."

"I'm well aware of the Photoshop claims. That's part of the fun," says Morris. "This series is completely real and incredibly simple...that's the trick. Buddhist monks have been doing it for a lot longer than me so people should really take it up with them."

Even though this shoot looks like it might've involved some serious planning, Morris claims it was pretty simple: "There's no trick! The toilet shot was very easy...its literally just as you see it."

"The camera was sat on top of a small bin that I put in the shower cubicle opposite the toilet," says Morris.

Morris welcomes the doubters: "Now let the photoshop debate rage on...I'm off to meditate!"
