Teachers Who Were Also Porn Stars

In 2012, an Australian media-studies teacher from Oberon High School left the profession after an online video of him starring with a former female student leaked. He claims the website was supposed to be restricted, and resigned before an investigation of the scandal had ended. He said, looking back, he wouldn’t repeat the episode.

Liselle Bailey

In 2010, the drama teacher left her position at Grindon Hall Christian School in Sunderland, England, where she taught English and drama in order to produce and star in porn films. According to The (U.K.) Sun, Bailey said, “I have gone from teacher to teaser. It may not be a traditional path, but it is the right one for me.”

Tiffany Shepard, aka Leah Lust

In 2009, Tiffany Shepard, the Port St. Lucie High School biology teacher in Florida, was caught moonlighting as a bikini mate on Smokin’ Em charter-fishing tours. (The pictures of her in a bikini had leaked onto the Internet.) After losing her job, she tried other avenues to make a living, but none took. She turned to porn as a last resort. As she told Page2live.com, "I'm not particularly proud of it. To be honest, I hate it. I'm an educated woman, but I never thought it would come to this. No one gets brought up thinking they'll be a floozy."

Kevin Hogan ,aka Hytch Cawke

In 2011, Kevin Hogan was an English teacher and crew coach at Mystic Valley Regional Charter School in Malden, Mass., who was outed as being a former gay porn star by Fox News reporter Mike Beaudet. Some of his titles include “Fetish World” and “Just Gone Gay 8”. When confronted on camera, Hogan said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He was placed on administrative leave. 

Stacie Halas, aka Tiffany Six

In March 2012, Halas was suspended from her Oxnard middle school after students discovered she had a porn past from six years prior in features such as “Big Sausage Pizza.” Said Oxnard School District Superintendent Jeff Chancer, “Maybe it’s not a crime as far as the penal code is concerned, but we feel it’s a crime as far as moral turpitude is concerned”.

Jane Moyle

In 2009, Jane Moyle was a teacher from South Wales who made up to 80 amateur videos with her husband. Unbeknownst to her, her husband distributed the homemade films via the Internet. When rumors spread about the films, she resigned from her job. A disciplinary panel later said she “naively and not deliberately” took part in the movies and therefore could still teach. No word if she’s still married.

Benedict Garret, aka Johnny Anglais

In 2010, Garret, a former head of Personal, Social Health and Economic Education at Beal High School, Ilford, Essex was suspended after students found out he was a hardcore porn star. One of his films is “European Honeyz 4.” He later went on to star in the British version of “Big Brother,” but was evicted.

Carlie Beck. aka Carlie Christine

In 2009, Beck was the cheerleading coach of Casa Roble High School in Orangevale, Calif., who posed as a Playboy.com Cyber Girl of the Week under the pseudonym Carlie Christine. She was subsequently fired. According to ABC News, “Beck said the school district never told her why she was fired, but ‘there is a strong correlation with the timing of when the parents brought the pictures in and when I was released.’” In a strange twist, the people who exposed Beck were vindictive girls who didn’t make the cheerleading squad.

Pastor Melissa Scott, aka Barbie Bridges

While not a teacher in a school per se, she’s a teacher of something else: the Bible. Once a ‘90s porn actress known as Barbie Bridges, she is now a televangelist, as pastor and teacher of Faith Center in Glendale, Calif. She was married to the previous pastor, Dr. Gene Scott, 40 years her senior, and when he died of prostate cancer in 2005, she took over the duties of the church. While she claims she was never an actress in a pornographic movie, the titles “Backdoor Diaries” and “Buffy Gets Banged” tell a different story.

Tera Myers, aka Rikki Andersin

In 2006, Tera Myers taught science at Parkway North High School in St. Louis, Mo. However, after students discovered she used to be a porn star from two decades earlier, she was placed on administrative leave. As quoted in the (U.K.) Daily Mail, she said, “Anybody who’s been in my classroom can tell you how much I love teaching and how much I love these students. That should be what matters more than anything I’ve ever done in my past.” In her appearance on the “Dr. Phil” show, she said her stint in porn was the biggest mistake of her life.

Shawn Loftis, aka Collin O’Neal

Shawn Loftis appeared in gay porn in such titles as “Mo’ Bubble Butt” and “Humping Iron.” But in 2010, he ditched porn to pursue teaching, starting as a substitute teacher at Miami Beach High. Under a rule that says teachers must “conduct themselves … in a manner that will reflect credit upon themselves and the school system,” the Florida Department of Education revoked his teaching certification. According to the Miami Times, even the ACLU turned him down, stating, “Your case would be stronger if your job did not involve supervising children.” However, in 2012, the Florida Education Practices Commission in Orlando ruled he could go back to teaching. As reported by the New York Daily News, “his past pursuits were not illegal and the school did not have the authority to dismiss him on that basis.” Loftis is currently a popular CNN iReporter.
