Mandatory scoured the web to find the 20 most unique, interesting and unabashedly cool online personalities -- with boobs! Beautiful bloggers, sexy social media mavens and our favorite Twitter crushes who all have brains that are just as hot as their bodies. You may argue that some of these women don’t look like nerds, and you would be correct. That’s the point.

    Jenna Mourey (Jenna Marbles)

    Is she a geek, or just hilarious, cute and funny? We say all of the above. It takes a certain kind of woman to make everything from “What Kids Shows Taught Me” to “How Girls Pack a Suitcase” funny and entertaining. Mourey created her fame accidentally one night while getting ready for her shift as a go-go dancer.

    While reflecting on the state of her life and caking on make-up for her nightclub job, she mastered the art of the quirky confessional video by recording her famous, sarcastic tutorial “How to Trick People into Thinking You're Good Looking” and uploading it to YouTube. A few hours after posting it, she was an Internet star. There are many imitators, but with about 3,500,000 subscribers and more than 600 million page views, there’s only one Jenna Marbles.

    Morgan Webb

    Morgan Webb is a gamer, writer, producer of the TV show "X-Play" and host of the shows "Underground" and "Free Stuff" on the G4 network. To further solidify her geek-girl cred, she also wrote a monthly video-game column called "Tips From the Gaming Goddess" for FHM. This UC Berkeley grad worked for a dot-com company as a website administrator after college, while honing her on-air skills as a professional television geek. The hard work paid off.

    Taryn Southern

    Taryn is like a one-woman production machine, creating a large Internet presence with her YouTube channel, music videos, pilots for cable networks like MTV and creating original content for G4, Comedy Central and Funny or Die. Smart ladies know you can’t sit around waiting to be discovered by a network executive, so Southern makes sure she stays in the limelight by coming up with new ideas all the time. Why else does she make this list? She has good looks, girl-next-door charm, and is not afraid to sing about poo.

    Alexi Wasser’s blog, I’m Boy Crazy, has us crazy about her unfiltered opinion about sex and dating. After reading her posts, you get the feeling she’s the sexy plain-Jane type who is really a wild animal in bed. She has the body of a model, stunning blue eyes, and she really tells guys the truth. She also writes and produces her own promotional videosm and rumor has it she’s come pretty close to having her own television series. We're Alexi Wasser crazy over here.

    Felicia Day is the OG of geek girls on the Web. In high school, she was a National Merit Scholar and valedictorian of her class, then received a full scholarship to play violin and study math at University of Texas. After her studies, she went on to act in various Web series, TV shows and productions of her own creation. She is most known for her passion for gaming, and is the star and producer of the original web series "The Guild," loosely based on her life as a gamer. Just don’t call her a “booth babe.” Insiders know that would be a big mistake.

    Natalie Tran

    Australia’s most-subscribed-to YouTuber also is now a big hit in the States. Tran first draws you in with her adorable girl-next-door good looks, but sucks you into watching hours of her videos by winning you over with her witty skits depicting the trials and tribulations of the most inane things in life. Tran further solidified her expertise in Web promotion by receiving a digital-media degree from the University of New South Wales. She boats more than 400 million views and counting, and we look forward to what Tran does next.

    Veronica Belmont is a geek girl who blogs about tech, gadgets, gaming and kittens. She’s also the co-host of the Revision3 show "Tekzilla," the co-host of the TWiT gaming show "Game On" and the former host of the monthly PlayStation 3-based video-on-demand program "Qore." She was also a producer and associate editor for CNET Networks, Inc. Fun fact: Her mom was once the vice-president of the Japanese toy and gaming company Coleco. So it's only natural that her mom would breed a hot, cool nerd.

    Jenny Johnson

    Jenny Johnson is a former TV-news producer turned writer who gives good tweet. Some of her recent gems include:

    Jenn Hoffman

    Next up is Mandatory columnist and resident sociology geek Jenn Hoffman. Like many of the women on this list, she also writes and produces her own content. But this chick has also lived a pretty diversified, and sometimes very public, life. Hoffman is a former news reporter who infamously got banned from the Hollywood hot spot Chateau Marmont for tweeting from inside the restaurant, then leveraged her experience to speak about social media policy to businesses.

    Forbes magazine refers to her as “a one woman media juggernaut,” and named her one of the most eligible business-minded bachelorettes in America. She also was on NBC’s show "The Apprentice." Hoffman studied literature at Cambridge, has degrees in communications, sociology and an MBA, and runs a social-media consulting firm Get Some Media. She also acts and directs in a stage show called "The Dirty Truth About Nerdy Girls in Hollywood." Read some of her writing for Mandatory.

    Marissa A. Ross

    Marissa A. Ross is a geek because she writes intelligently from a trainwreckish girl’s point of view and still can hold our attention. Not that a woman writing about topical stuff shouldn’t hold a man’s attention. It’s just that we don't really care to read any girl’s blog about being a fashionista or her thoughts on shoes, so we appreciate the more male-oriented angle. Back to Ross: She’s cute, quirky, and has a slightly off-beat persona and look that pique our interest. She also has a hilarious Web series in which she muses over her career and dating in scenes that also feature her drinking champagne out of a paper bag. Classy and hot.

    Melodie Tao is a marketing consultant with a mission to inspire others to optimize their online presence through digital technology and social media. She’s basically an approachable, girl-next-door type who happens to be a social-media geek. From organizing networking events in her current hometown of San Diego to creating international seminars, Tao has earned her nickname “Marketing Melodie” from her peers. Plus, she’s a yoga geek, which means she can do amazing things with her body.

    While traveling on a redeye to New York on Virgin Airlines, Stetten says she was aggressively hit on by the guy in the seat next to her. He claimed to be single, ready to mingle and into her. Defying the vacant model stereotype, Stetten was savvy enough to tweet about her admirer to find out more about him. To her astonishment, her suitor was Brian Presley, a married actor who has a wife and a 5-year-old son.

    Melissa live-tweeted the entire encounter, telling the whole Internet about the cheesy guy in the seat next to her, which spawned international press coverage and even an Internet meme called F---ing Brian. We wouldn’t want to mess with this chick, but we wouldn't mind messing around with her.

    Misti Dawn

    After moving to Los Angeles from rural Kentucky, Misti Dawn combined her love of gaming and sex to become known as the Nerdiest Girl in Porn. Since men love playing video games almost as much as they love sex, Dawn's clever branding built her a loyal fan base. After creating a name for herself in social media, Dawn left porn to take a position on the other side of the camera, becoming a director for Machinima, which is one of the largest producers of content for YouTube. Did we mention her two favorite things are video games and sex?

Lauren Leto took this common travesty and turned it into a multi-million-dollar idea when she came up with TextsFromLastNight.com. Now she has a book deal, a sitcom in the works, and about a zillion dollars in the bank. She’s also hot. We would text her last night, tonight or any other night, except we're terrified of our messages ending up on the site.

    Where pop meets politics is where you will find Kelly Ann Collins and Ali Lewis. As the co-founders of Glittarazzi, they’re smart enough to know that Washington D.C. is the new Hollywood. This is America, so why not capitalize on our nation’s capital with witty videos and blog posts about shenanigans on the beltway?

    Kelly’s past as a USA Today editor is probably what helps Glittarazzi break news about D.C. faster than its competitors. Ali’s hilarious personality and random quips are what bring flavor to the videos and other content on the site.

Before all the TV gigs and fanfare, she earned her B.S. in Information Technology New Media from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and blogged for Dell.

    Lights is a Canadian electro-pop musician and also a huge comic-book nerd, so much so that she even has an epic Wonder Woman tattoo on her back. In 2009, she became the focus of a 10-part series of animated video shorts, in which she transforms into an outer-space explorer. Lights is hot as Hades, and we also love her for breaking the squeaky-clean pop-singer mold by being a girl who is not afraid to show her sexier side as a comic-book-loving geek girl of pop music.

    R.H. Stavis' first foray into the world of geekdom began at the age of 18 with the development of a screenplay with Sony Pictures about an undiscovered heroine during the Revolutionary War called “Honor's Price.” 

    Soon after that, R.H. Stavis' popularity expanded globally with the fictional video-game character, Lara Croft. This comic-book writer, video-game creator and novelist is still kicking ass and taking names, so that’s why she is on this list. Oh, she’s also hot.

    Kristen Nedopak earns her geek girl stripes as one of the creative chicks who conceptualizes, produces and hosts her own nerd-oriented content. Some of her self-made series include, "Fight Class," an online show where she learns choreographed fight scenes from popular television shows and films and reenacts them for viewers. She also hosts and produces "Think Hero TV," featuring weekly reviews of today’s hottest geek-genre TV shows, including "The Vampire Diaries," "Spartacus" and "Game of Thrones." Nedopak has also applied her high-tech savvy working as a senior UX designer and writer for Microsoft.
