The death of Jane (Krysten Ritter) was shocking as is, but according to Bryan Cranston at the winter 2010 TCA tour, it was originally supposed to be even more dreadful. Before it was changed, Walter was directly responsible for pushing Jane onto her back while she slept, which sets off her coughing and choking to death.

During season one, the writers strike proved to be an ally for the story that creator Vince Gilligan wanted to tell. He originally intended to have Walt’s transformation into a darker person happen a lot faster, but the strike allowed him to find a way to do it a little more slowly and realistically. (IMDB)

I call bs, there are maybe 40-50 crew members around and lighting, cameraman and then someone is a, able to aproach the vehicle b: isn't bothered with all the people around. c: able to talk to the actress d: he just walked in to her?
