Marisa Lee Miller is an American model best known for her work as a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and a Victoria's Secret Angel.

Her accomplishments have led her to be called the "return of the great American supermodel."

Marisa Miller's career as a model got kickstarted in 2001 when famed fashion photographer Mario Testino noticed her and got her a shoot for Vogue magazine. Since then Miller has appeared in GQ, Maxim, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Vanity Fair.

She officially became a Victoria's Secret Angel in 2007.

Marissa Miller was born in Santa Cruz, Calif. She considered herself a tomboy growing up, with little awareness of anything girly.

It has been documented that out of shyness, Marisa Miller often wore large t-shirts to hide her body when she was younger. We're glad she held on to this sexy GNR shirt.

Marisa is an avid surfer, and in 2010 she designed and released a line of Surftech paddle boards aimed at female riders.

About surfing, Miller says, "I feel my absolute best -- physically, mentally and spiritually -- when I'm surfing every day."

Marisa was a standout volleyball player in high school. She also enjoys boxing and rides a Harley.

Marisa Miller was actually born Marisa Bertetta, but kept the last name of her first husband Jim Miller after they divorced in 2002.

Miller is a self-proclaimed San Francisco 49ers fan for life, and was rooting for them last season in the NFC Championship game against the New York Giants.

However, the season before, she was rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl. She was also hired as a sexy spokesperson for the NFL that year.
