The World's Worst Parking Jobs

It takes a real optimist to see two adjacent parking spaces with cars in them and then think, "You know what? There's space for one more in there."

At least they halved their chances of rolling back down the hill. 

This one only gets better the longer you look at it. The car all the way to the left seems to have missed the parking lot entirely. The driver of the middle car just barely overshot his spot, but in doing so gave the driver of the car to the right the hope that he too could fit into the corner spot. A total team effort. 

We think the news graphic here really says it all.

The ability to find a spot in the intersection that manages to interfere with cars coming from both streets as well as completely block the sidewalk ramp is pretty impressive. Throw in all the wide-open spots available in every direction, and this is one of the best worst parking jobs we've ever seen. 

You've heard of parallel parking. This is perpendicular parking. 

You may think this photo was taken as the car was entering the spot, but there is no driver behind that wheel. Apparently the allure of some tasty Perkins fare was too much for this motorist to make it all the way into the parking lot. We're sure this his or her fellow diners will understand the need to leap out of the car to get into the restaurant as quickly as possible.

Under the circumstances, that's a pretty good parking job. 

it's underwater, but it does seem to be nestled perfectly between those two pool walls. 

This is like the butterfly effect of parking disasters. Whoever started it set off a chain of events that sent the rest of the lot into total chaos. 

At this point, it might just be easier to buy a brand new car. 

Clearly this guy was in a hurry to get to church. We wonder if he'll mention in the confessional how he ran over a parking-lot barrier.

When you spend that much on a car, you don’t have much money left over to build a big garage.

We can tell why he had trouble staying on the road, what with all of the other cars parked around him and everything.

Really, dude? You're going to take up a whole spot with that little thing? Can't you just tie it to the bike rack?

This seems like the car version of a Napoleon complex. Taking up four spots won't make your tiny puddle hopper seem any bigger. 

Are we crazy or does it look like he backed into that incredibly disruptive angle? What a truly impressive middle finger to all that is right about parking properly.

In all fairness, if you own a truly compact car you can probably fit in there to the left.

It takes a special type of person to take away four handicapped spots with one car.

Memphis has really amped up its subway safety patrol efforts. Results have been mixed so far.

"Keep going, keep going, keep going. OK, stop. Stop! Stop!"

Parallel-parking tests have gotten way more difficult since we were in driving school.

This guy manages to screw with both the two cars parked on either side of him and all oncoming traffic. 

A great example of parking lots policing themselves. If you choose to park in the middle of two spots, you will be boxed in. 

We really hope the car was there first.
