Get to Know Hope Dworaczyk, 2010 Playmate of the Year

Hope Dworaczyk has been bitten by the acting bug, and told us that she is taking it very seriously.

"I've hired an acting coach and have been working with him 8-10 hours a week," she said, "so I'm all in on making this work."

Hope recently was one of the final two choices to play the female lead opposite Jeff Bridges in an upcoming movie, but lost out to Marisa Miller. However, we have no doubt that she'll land a hot role in something soon.

In addition to being the official spokesmodel for Tees By Tina, Hope just designed a special one-size-fits-most seamless apparel line for them that includes animal print 3/4 sleeve shirts. Rawr! She says the convenient, comfortable clothes from Tees By Tina allow her to travel more like a man, only needing a carry-on even when she goes overseas for a week or so.

As for men's style and fashion, she has this to say: "I don't like square-toed shoes on guys, it's a pet peeve of mine. Also, shirts with a lot of writing on them look silly, and you shouldn't wear sports jerseys out unless you're going to a game. Keep your wardrobe plain and simple, not flashy, and you'll look so much better."

She also recently joined the digital world by releasing her first iPhone app, The Rating Game.

The fun app allows users to take photos of themselves or their friends and submit them to Hope for her rating. Hope says that so far guys are using it mostly to try to make fun of their friends by submitting embarrassing pictures. That sounds about right.

Hope appeared on the cover of Playboy on the April 2009 issue with Seth Rogen. She went on to become the 2010 Playmate of the Year, with another cover shot on the June 2010 issue. Oh, and she was Playboy's first 3D centerfold.

Her website features the song, "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" by Jet. She said she decided to use that song because a 13-year-old boy she knows, who has a crush on her, said the song reminded him of her. "Big black boots, long brown hair, she's so sweet with her get back stare..." Makes sense to us.

Hope doesn't really play or follow sports much these days, but she does practice boxing to stay in shape. Also, she says basketball is her favorite sport to watch when she can and she roots for the Dallas Mavericks.

Hope Dworaczyk was on Celebrity Apprentice in 2011 and finished in 8th place.

She is also passionate about the charity Best Buddies International – which creates opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She raised $40,000 for the charity during her time on Celebrity Apprentice, and has a "best buddy" of her own named Caroline.

Hope was 5'10 by the time she was 13 years old.

Hope Dworaczyk was born in Port Lavaca, TX, right outside of Houston. She won the 2000 Miss Teen Texas competition. God bless Texas.
