The United States of Beer

Related: beer, breweries, Food and Drink, Living

By Cory Jones Mar 07, 2012

  • 1 of 51

This piece was written in conjunction with Scott Killinger.

The United States is a great, great place. Not because of the freedom and liberty it provides, but because there are a ton of macro and micro breweries that offer just about every ale, stout, lager and pilsner under the sun.

Twenty years ago this wasn't the case. But now each and every state offers something special for hopheads (and those who just like to try different beers.) Take a tour through the United States of Beer.

*Editor's Note: Some states have so many breweries that we couldn't fit them on the map. Check the text field for listings we didn't have room for. And please let us know if we forgot any!
