Before Slumdog Millionaire, Freida Pinto was the host of a travel show called Full Circle on an English-speaking Asian television network. She traveled all over the world, showing off places that others might like to go.

Not all of Freida Pinto's roles are super serious. She also appeared as a primatologist across from James Franco in The Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also appeared with various apes.

It apparently took about six months of auditioning before Freida Pinto was granted a role in Slumdog Millionaire. Apparently Danny Boyle is a very particular gentleman when it comes to casting.

Just because she's an Indian actress, it's not fair to call her a Bollywood star. She has never actually appeared in any of the big-budget, song-filled movies that exemplify the Bollywood genre. We're glad about that.

It wasn't until after she had already made her feature film debut that Freida Pinto actually started taking acting lessons. Some people credit that fact for her authentic, organic performances.

Freida Pinto actually tried her hand at being a Bond girl in Quantum of Solace. She didn't get the part, though. She was outgunned by Olga Kurylenko. We think it was more of a tie.

Freida Pinto was being considered for Zack Snyder's eye-candy festival known as Sucker Punch once Emma Stone dropped out. She ultimately didn't land that role either, but likely would've been great in it.
